…they just have three children at home during the school holidays. Anyway, here we are back again after this enforced sabbatical, at the European Wine Bloggers Conference . This is really interesting stuff, not least for me who, up until fairly recently, held a robustly ”blog humbug” attitude to this medium. What’s interesting is the diversity of types who have blog-trekked to this rather fabulous corner of Spain, (we’re in Logronia, down Rioja way), who are diverse in terms of age, depth of blogging, work, time they’ve been blogging, and nationality, (about 11 countries).
We’ve tasted some wines this afternoon, live blog corners emitting a constant tappety-tap as background musak), and enjoyed the company of these really interesting and entertaining people. In fact, I can no longer say ‘blog’ and ‘nerd’ in tandem. Tomorrow, more intense chatter around what blogging is, and who and when and wherefore and all the wh’s.
Bravi, Gabriella and Ryan, it’s all going swimmingly.
It was great to have you hear and I look forward to any updates on your thoughts about what you saw and tasted! Thank you so much for coming and adding to what turned out to be a great weekend!
